Would you like to study and do you want to gain valuable practical experience in the professional world during your studies? Then our dual study programs might be just right for you. We offer them in the fields of computer science and biotechnology.

Our offer

• Dual studies in biotechnology (Bachelor of Engineering)
• Dual studies in computer science (Bachelor of Science) with an integrated professional qualification as an IT specialist

What are the requirements?

• Fulfillment of the admission requirements of the Anhalt University (biotechnology) or the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg (computer science)
• Having fun in the natural sciences and technical subjects
• Enjoyment of laboratory work or working with the PC
• Independent way of working, logical thinking skills and high learning ability do not cause you any problems

After graduation

Biotechnology:

The dual study program in Köthen offers you excellent career opportunities. Later main fields of application after your studies are for example:

• Research and development facilities
• Biotechnical production areas
• Agricultural and food industries
• Pharmaceutical industry
• Medical areas
• Environmental industry

Computer Science:

The dual degree in computer science offers you a lot of possible career fields later on:

• Research and teaching at research institutes, universities and training companies
• Design and implementation of technical systems in the data processing industry
• Management of projects and development of new software-based products
• Conception and development of novel systems from application areas such as web services, automotive, consumer electronics, mechanical engineering, etc.
• Advice and consulting in the field of IT-supported systems

The dual study programs are advertised on the IPK Homepage under “job offers” mostly in December of the previous year for at least 4 weeks.
