High throughput sequencing
High throughput sequencing
High throughput sequencing (short-read-sequencing-by-synthesis) is provided by an Illumina iSeq100 (sequencing capacity/run: 1.2 Gbp/4 million sequence reads) and a NovaSeq6000 (sequencing capacity/run: up to 8,000 Gbp / up to 20 trillion sequence reads, maximum read length 2x250 bp) device.
These data are exploited for whole genome sequencing, re-sequencing, genotyping, transcriptome sequencing, methylome sequencing, small RNA sequencing, and deciphering the three dimensional architecture of genomes.
